I have traveled pretty much all my life, starting from the early age of four, when the family pulled up stakes from New Zealand and became immigrants to Canada.
By the time I had left school I had traveled to more countries, seen more exotic sights and experienced more cultures than 95% of the world's adult population. Needless to say, with that sort of upbringing I was not going to be one to settle down to a steady life in one location.
Travel was definitely in the blood and my first great adventure was started by saving all my money, selling the car and the boat and heading off to the sailing world championships in Europe . Though I did not do well in the world championships, I did see a lot of Europe and entered a lot of regattas. For six months I had a great time but in the end I had to fly back and I was broke with no job.

This is a common scenario for all of us, as we save, take the time off, have the holiday and come back to put our working lives slowly back together again and pay off that credit card, which we “maxed out” on holiday. I found it amazing that the ratio of time at work, before and after, was grossly disproportionate to the actual time spent on holiday. For those few weeks, or months, if we're lucky, we spend so much time scrimping and saving to go abroad. Then on the return we again spend so much time scrimping and saving to pay off the excess we spent, having a good time.

This seemed to me a really slow way to travel and see the world. There had to be a better way, but how? My knowledge gained from experience and observing my parents convinced me that I needed a better job. One that would either earn me lots of money or where I could earn money, as I made my way from one place to another.

As I had very poor school results and no other qualifications, getting a job in which I could earn lots of money seemed, to my mind, completely out of the question. (How wrong was I?)

However, as I was fascinated by the sea, I became a professional mariner, working firstly on commercial fishing vessels and then graduating to sailing ships and finally to the offshore oil industry, with each step increasing my professional qualifications. My plan was that I would travel to these exotic places by working and have money, when landing, to see the sights.

This wasn't a bad plan, as I did get to see some amazing places and had fantastic experiences. However, in the long run what I mostly saw for months at a time was ships and the ocean. Tossed in were a few ports which we would call into and, of course, in port we still needed to keep watch and maintain the vessel. Like the very old saying goes, “I went to sea to see the world and all I saw was the sea”. There had to be a better way.

Working in the offshore oil industry was an eye opener, as the pay was fantastic, compared to an impoverished tall ship sailor, while working five weeks on and five weeks off seemed to be luxury. The problem was that I was beginning to look further into the future and the big question was...
“Do I want to work in this industry with all the hardships and stress for the rest of my life?”
The answer: “No bloody way!”
So what to do?

The answer to that is to make the money I save work harder for me and get a passive income stream from several sources. Not easy! In fact, very hard for someone who for years only earned enough to pay for day-to-day expenses.

It has taken me many years and a lot of false attempts to begin to get it together. If I were to start again, I would do it in a totally different manner. This is why I have set out this web site to guide you.

In a matter of months you can achieve what took me years to achieve - this easy straightforward method to independent income.
Within eight months I had doubled my trading account and purchased an investment property. Now that I am so much closer to my own long-term goals of financial independence, I am offering you this web site as a short cut to your own financial freedom.
